Jerry Evans, PEng, MBA
Jerry Evans is President and CEO of GreenPatch Capital Inc., a business development and finance consultancy group. He has over 30 years of experience in business development, corporate finance, and investment management encompassing numerous senior executive positions and board seats with private and public companies. Currently, he sits on two other boards. He is a Professional Engineer and holds a Masters of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario.
Bob Nerby, BSc (Hons) Chem. Eng., BEd
Bob Nerby brings over 20 years of educational experience to OSTC having taught in Canada, Australia, and Europe. Bob started his working career as a Chemical Engineer and recognized early on the importance of embracing technology in teaching, as well as the value of technological literacy to students. Bob is the founder of MATHTALK; an educational system that includes personalized instruction, online tutorials, and electronic whiteboarding for learning.
Anthony Austin, BA, MEd (pending 2015)
Anthony Austin is a professor at Seneca College in the School of Information and Communication Technology. He has attended Western University and Trent University, with Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto. He is currently completing his Masters’ of Education at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He spearheaded a transfer agreement between Windesheim University in Zwolle, the Netherlands, and has analyzed educational transfer agreements for schools in China, India, the UK, and Australia. A long proponent of Open Source, he brings 30 years experience to the board in information science dating back to his hacker roots in the early 1980s. He is one of the founding faculty that began FSOSS, one of the foremost Free Software and Open Source Symposiums in Canada and is a regular speaker at conferences on Open Source topics.
Glenn Ross, Journalism Dip., BA
Director and CEO (Founder)
Glenn Ross brings over 30 years of publishing experience to OSTC with expertise in the editorial, marketing, and production functions of newspapers, magazines, and books. Through his publishing services company, Ross Publishing, he has worked with most of Canada’s major publishing houses. Throughout his career, he has had a leading interest in matching new technologies to existing publishing practices. He has a journalism diploma from Loyalist College and a Bachelors degree in English from the University of Toronto.
